Break away to Clooneybreen, on the Wild Atlantic Way in Co Clare.

This Lahinch holiday home combines an expansive contemporary build with the original cottage that has been renovated to the highest standard. Clooneybreen offers breathtaking views of Lahinch bay, the cliffs of mother and on a clear day the Kerry peninsula.

Cottage:

The property comprises of an entrance hall to the original but renovated cottage. The cottage contains a long hallway with a common bathroom (that can be locked and used as an ensuite if so wished) with an electric shower come bathtub. There are also two bedrooms. 1 contains a large king sized double bed with velux windows. The second bedroom has a large king sized bed and a single bed, also with velux windows.

Mainhouse:

Living room:

When entering the new part of the house, there is a huge contemporary living room come kitchen with rolling views through the floor to ceiling windows. There is a solid stove fire with a beautiful Persian rug and two large sofas and solid wood coffee table, creating a cozy feeling while observing the elements.

Kitchen:

The kitchen contains a large island for cooking, a built in chopping board, a cooker with gas hobs and large oven. There is an extra tap for the filtered water ensuring high quality clean drinking water.

Shared Bathroom/Utility Room

Towards the back of the kitchen room there is a utility room with a washing machine come dryer and a very convenient wetroom comprising of a toilet and shower, directly next to the backdoor. So you can jump directly into the shower in wetsuits /bathing suits after a long day out in the beach.

Cozy/TV Room/Office:

When entering the final wing of the house, there is a very cozy tv room where you can curl up and relax with a movie on our smart TV connected to the WIFI. Don't forget your Netflix/Disney passwords ;). There is also a large desk here for anyone who needs to do some work.

Master Bedroom Ensuite:

Finally the Master bedroom, comprises of floor to ceiling windows offering some of the best views of the property. There are black out curtains and a super king bed. To the back of the bedroom there is a walk in wardrobe. Finally there is an attached master ensuite bathroom with a large bathtub, his/her sinks and a shower.

Garden:

The garden comprises of a large patio area beside the large sliding doors in the living room. There is outdoor furniture seating for 6 people. The large rolling landscaped garden offers a combination of breathtaking view, nature and beauty creating unforgettable dining experience. You may even get some visitors from the hares and pheasants in the morning and evening if you are lucky.

What makes your neighbourhood special

Take a walk around the property on the country roads while taking in the views. Lahinch and Miltown Malbay are 5 minute drive away. You can also head down to white strand for a swim nearby, 3 minutes by car. Please note: there are two farms bordering the property.

This property is all on the ground floor making it very child and elderly and friendly.

Internet access is provided free of charge where available, we cannot be held responsible for the disruption of internet access or TV channels due to internet/ TV service providers or any other third party. In this event of lack of TV Service or internet due to the service provider compensation cannot be given as this is a FREE service, please bear this in mind when making your booking.

Children and babies are welcome in all our properties. But please be aware that none of our properties are child proof. We do not offer stair gates, cupboard locks and latches, corner protectors, spark guards or fireguards.

There is no substitute for adult supervision of a small child. Watch your child at all times as children do not understand danger. Remember that young children are not capable of being responsible for their own safety.

We do not provide toiletries. It’s an ecological decision we have made as a company. Please bring your own. 980.8 tonnes of plastic waste is produced by travel miniatures every year – equivalent to two-and-a-half Boeing 747s.

Pet Friendly homes – Some of our houses and apartments are pet friendly. Dogs are not allowed to jump on, or sleep on the furniture or go in the bedrooms. We also ask that all traces of your pet be removed at the end of your stay, including the garden and courtyard areas.

If we feel that the homes needs additional cleaning after a stay with a pet or for any other reason (party, extreme messiness etc) , there may be a sur-charge after check out. This will be charge per hour rate and or is professional cleaning is needed.
